EVERYTHING IS
AN OPPORTUNITY
FOR AWAKENING
DEEPEN INTO PRESENCE
This is for anyone who’s looking to cultivate more presence and awareness through the ups and downs of daily life.
Plant medicines, breath work ceremonies, and retreats are glamorous and have their place, but our day-to-day lives are where the rubber meets the proverbial road.
This is where the cultivation of basic skills for inner work come in.

“The process of inner work — the psychological and spiritual work of purification and inner transformation — clears an inner space, uncluttered by negative psychological patterns or resistances, where we can have more access to our own light.”
LLewellyn Vaughn-Lee
CULTIVATE YOUR AWARENESS
In his book The Five Personality Patterns, author Steven Kessler lays out these essential skills for inner work:
1. Cultivating the inner witness
2. Attending to raw sensory experience
3. Developing basic energy skills
(ground, me not me, edge, core)
4. Dis-identifying from the inner critic
In this group we will put time and energy toward cultivating these skills through individual, group, and partner practices, and shared reflection.
Through these skills, we can take more ownership over how we show up in the world, improving our relationship to ourselves, to others, and to life.

“There is a light within every soul; it only needs the clouds that overshadow it to be broken for it to beam forth.”
— Hazrat Inayat Khan
SHINE MORE LIGHT
It sounds a little metaphorical, but if you’ve read this far, you probably know what we’re talking about, at least on some level.
The question that all of my teachers in the realm of inner work and awakening come back to is:
.: WHAT IS IN THE WAY? :.
Inner work is the process of self examination toward the goal of uncovering that which is our essence and allowing it to shine.
This isn’t therapy or advice-giving. It’s a space for shared presence and inner practice, where you’ll explore tools that support self-awareness, grounded reflection, and gentle inquiry.
Who is facilitating this class:
My name is Brodie, and I’ve been exploring the terrain of inner work for the past 15 years — as an artist, a writer, and a meditator.
Over the past five years, I’ve felt a quiet but persistent call to share what I’ve learned and support others in their own process of self-inquiry and transformation.
In that time, alongside of my daily practice, I’ve completed multiple seven-day silent retreats, a six-month coach training program, and a two-year ceremonial course called Understanding Personal Energy. I’ve also participated in twice-yearly weekend Zoom retreats focused on inner guidance and reflection, and continue to study energy work, spiritual direction, and inquiry-based practices in ongoing advanced trainings.
This work is a deep part of how I move through the world — and I share it not as an expert, but as a fellow traveler. The practices we’ll explore are simple, subtle, and foundational — designed to help you meet yourself and your life with more awareness, more presence, and more compassion.
Note:
This can be disruptive work. The healing process requires a lot of support.
I am not a licensed therapist nor pretending to be one.
The purpose of this class is to provide simple tools and small shifts for you to deepen into presence, cultivate your awareness, and shine more light.
This work can beautifully complement therapy or other healing modalities, and it is recommended to do so if possible.

FAQs
Q: Do I need to meditate everyday or something to take this class?
The hope is that this class might help inspire or re-ignite the desire to practice regularly, but there is no compulsion.
